Where Have All the Flowers Gone?

This series of paintings expresses my concern with the steady destruction of our environment.  The pollution of the air, contamination of the water, and the degradation of soil will lead to the destruction of ecosystems, habitats and the extinction of plants and wildlife.

In these paintings the plant is absent, only the memory of its color or habitat remains.

Each oil painting is 40’ x 30’ and detailed with silverpointe.  Silverpointe will continue to tarnish and age forever, thus making each work alive.
